GARAGISME 8

Images created for the magazine Garagisme based on the theme Turbo lag in a societal context. I created work around the ideas of an Augmented Windtunnel and a drug called Turbo. Images were then printed in the Garagisme issue number 8.

Neoliberal political systems in capitalist countries of the 21st century have fostered a high performance lifestyle. It has nurtured the concept of individuals striving for self-realisation and productivity, creating markets and systems where we try to push and augment the boundaries of bodies, mental states and objects around us.

By exploring how we push the performance of ourselves and the automobile, we shed light on the multiplicity of unrestricted potentials in today's society.
